Agroscope Zurich Enhances Research with Valoya C and B- Series
Agroscope Zurich has deployed Valoya lighting solutions in both greenhouses and growth chambers, focusing on research involving corn, mini corn, wheat, and barley. Several Valoya spectra are in use, allowing flexibility in simulating different growing conditions. The use of Valoya’s C and B Series fixtures ensures high ingress protection and excellent light transmission, making them reliable in both humid greenhouse settings and precision-controlled chambers. This infrastructure supports Agroscope’s multidisciplinary plant science research by creating reproducible and high-quality growing conditions. The light uniformity and spectrum stability are especially beneficial for experiments that require tight control over environmental variables.
